Loving these write ups, Don. As someone who wants to live abroad (and will, dammit!), they're such a great peek into what that will feel like. And kudos to you for inspecting every grocery store in Porto for the vegan feast; sounds amazing! Looking forward to catching one with y'all when we're living over there, BOOYAH.
We are still in the mode of needing to go to places to see what all is actually available. The internet-to-storefront connection just isn't as good here. But if we want a meal delivered there's Glovo, Uber Eats and more.
No delivery service? In Prague there are two great services bringing groceries to your door. Maybe a business you can start in Portugal if the other remote job gets too boring!
It is the lighthouse in Porto, just out at the mouth of the Douro. And thanks for sharing. Porto has a great vegan scene. It's not nearly as strong as Portland, but it's growing fast and there are plenty of options.
Incredible shots! When I visited Porto 7 years ago, another solo woman traveler and I took a tram and headed toward the ocean and then walked north for a while to a lovely little cafe on the water where we drank wine and gazed at the ocean. You live in a little slice of heaven!

Thanks buddy!
Sure but if you don't have to run to 5 or 10 different stores that simplifies life and the delivery fee is very small. But we do tip generously.

Oh there probably are, but we are not going to spend all that extra $$ on delivery. Ha. Trying to live with less. :)
Is that the lighthouse in Porto?! Wow!! I am sharing your trials and tribulations with a vegan real estate client who wants to move to Portugal.

Wow, what an adventure!
It definitely was (and is!)
